During my academic career, I collaborated with the Piaget Institute, having worked as an AAAF educator at the Basic School no1 of Monte da Caparica, Almada for 5 years. I emigrated to the United Kingdom, London, in search of new experiences and opportunities having started this journey as an Educator in a Montessori nursery school. For 1 and a half years, I worked as an Early Child Teacher and Room Leader for two years in two different institutions. During this period I also performed team leadership functions and trained young workers. When aiming to enter public education, I worked initially as a teaching assistant and later as an educator (Early Years Educator). I worked for 2 years in this institution, until I decided to return to Portugal. In London, I also provided babysitting services during which I also provided study support for children attending primary school.
