About Shantel
I am a dedicated and compassionate TEFL-certified English tutor with experience both in classroom teaching and early childhood care. My background as an Assistant Teacher gave me strong foundations in lesson support, classroom management, and adapting learning materials to suit different student abilities and learning styles.
In addition, my experience working as an Assistant Nurse in an early childhood care environment strengthened my patience, emotional awareness, and ability to create a safe, nurturing space where children feel comfortable and confident. These combined experiences allow me to balance structured academic learning with warmth and encouragement.
I believe confidence is the foundation of language development. I prepare each lesson carefully, tailor materials to the student’s level, and focus on steady, measurable progress.
