About Rebecca
Hello! My name is Rebecca and I am a passionate dance teacher, specialising commercial, jazz, contemporary, and heels! I studied my GCSE and A-level dance at The Royal Academy of Dance, then decided to travel to New Zealand where I ended up studying Psychology with a minor in Dance! As well as my passion for heels dancing, I am interested in the wellness aspects of dance, hence happiness is at the forefront of all my classes.

My session's goal is to promote the joy and confidence builder of dancing. Class will always start with a fun warm-up to a song of your choice (if requested :) ) followed by some heels technique movements, getting us comfortable moving in our heels. We will then learn a routine normally around 50 seconds. Each session my goal is to make the routines vary in speed, style and musicality to broaden your skills. As the session is tailored for you, I love song requests or if there are any props (chairs etc) in the dance, I will make that happen. These lessons are for anyone who wants to feel empowered dancing in heels, due to the nature of heels dancing, I would typically say 16+, but all levels are welcome! I currently teach a weekly drop-in heels class which has a lot of regular ladies attending, most of whom had never danced in heels before but now attend weekly due to the confidence and joy the class is bringing them. I ensure to create a really warm, welcome, and fun environment for us to dance together!
