About Roberto
Roberto has been a part of the dance industry since the tender age of 4.
At 8 years old Roberto had his first professional experience and with that was taken under the wing of renown choreographer Michael Smuin. It was for San Francisco's "Smuin Ballet" in which Michael created a ballet especially for Roberto, "Pinocchio." Roberto was given the Young Artist Award for the "Best Young Performer in Live Theater" and as a result, established the title given by the San Francisco chronicle "The Little Mozart of Dance, the Bay Area's ballet prodigy."
Roberto received his training at THE ACADEMY OF BALLET under the direction of Zory Karah and Richard Gibson. He also received training at the school of American Ballet based in New York City, The Boston Ballet in Boston Massachusetts, Oregon Ballet Theater in Portland Oregon.
Roberto has also danced professionally with the Sacramento ballet of Sacramento California and Ballet Metropolitan of Columbus Ohio.
Roberto was named one of dance magazine's top 25 to watch in the year of 2011 January issue.

Dance is considered a universal language that everyone is capable of doing, no matter how old, no matter how young, no matter how inexperienced. Dancing will always be a craft that everyone could allow creative expression and with that comes an experience that is highly beneficial for both the student and tutor.
Tutoring is centered around classical Ballet and will start with 30 minutes at the barre and 30 minutes in the center. Both tutor and student will be working mainly on technical ability, correct alignment of the body, port de bras of the arms and proper lines of the legs and feet. We would also be working on style and execution.
For Ballroom students, we will start classes with a warm up, and then move on to a dance combination in whatever preference of style of ballroom is at the request of the student. All ages and experiences are welcome so sign up now!
