About Mary
Recent graduate from Trinity College Dublin with a Bachelor's degree in Medicinal Chemistry. I am extremely well-read in areas of chemistry, medicine and biology as well as physics, applied maths and engineering. In previous years, I have also achieved a H1 in Chemistry and Biology at Leaving Certificate level. Throughout my college education I have also withheld a managerial role in the retail and service industry which has awarded me with excellent communication skills and the ability to utilise my problem-solving skills wholeheartedly. For this reason, I firmly believe I am well-educated and hold the self-motivation, organisation, and time-management expertise to be an ideal tutor.

All lessons will be 60 minutes in duration, and students can apply for both Junior Cert and Leaving Cert level.
On a personal level, I am incredibly motivated by the prospect of making a meaningful contribution to my students' academic future. I am motivated to work alongside my students and introduce new learning methods that will stick by them in later years. I understand that many scientific concepts can be intimidating and overwhelming at a first glance, therefore I am prepared to host discussion and problem-solving sessions that will approach these subjects from different angles and learning styles.
In relation to my own teaching experience, in previous years I have given private chemistry grinds to students at Leaving Certificate level with high satisfactory rates. In addition, I hold Grade 8 Performance Certificates with the Royal Irish Academy of Music and have given private lessons in piano and guitar. I have always received immense satisfaction from teaching students, as it has greatly improved my interpersonal skills and reinstated my knowledge of chemistry and music theory. Over the course of my tuition period, my support and encouragement has led to the stellar results of all students I have worked with!
