About Rachel
Hi, I'm Rachel! I am a Monash University student who self-taught Korean to the highest university level without living in Korea. I believe language comes alive through culture, not textbooks. My lessons are built on K-pop, K-dramas, literature, and real conversation, tailored to your goals and learning style. Whether you're a complete beginner or preparing for TOPIK, I'll guide you with patience and genuine encouragement.
I don't believe in boring textbooks or endless memorization. I believe in learning through what you love. Whether it's K-pop lyrics, drama dialogues, or deep conversations about history and literature, my lessons are designed to feel natural, engaging, and personal. The first lesson is mainly a get-to-know for you and me, where we might do a little level test, have a conversation about what you are interested in, your motivations, expectations, and goals; to ensure I am able to support you to achieve those goals.
