About Barry
I am a retired tax accountant, I have helped 7 persons attain their GED. I have a God given gift with numbers, Math, I want to give this gift back to as many as I can touch. Let's make Math do the work for us now. I have always volunteered, helped, advised, gone into the IRS with strangers on their audit. There are no questions that are silly, you deserve to have the best to help you, believe me, I tutored a sixth grader, he always got F's , he was given to me as a dare, in math. "They" said no way he would not get an F.... his first test 4 days of tutoring,... he got a C !! He trusted in me, and all it was a matter of connecting.

My teaching method begins with assessment needs, and your perceived areas of tutoring need. I am a very detail-oriented type person, very logical, I follow through in steps, and as we both see all of the steps, you will begin to process problems in other areas very similar. I make math, and algebra fun, not scary, not worrisome, but when I give you tools, you will use them together to easily chop down every algebra equation. I can take x and y turn them into characters of your favorite movie, then you will see it come alive. Math is finite, there is an answer, sometimes 2 (-2 * -2) =4 and (2 * 2) =4. You will enjoy my patience, and compassion.
