About Rahyl

I am Rahyl. For six years, I have worked professionally in OT Security as an Exploit Developer and Firmware/ICS Vulnerability Researcher. I carry out enterprise projects on the security of IT system infrastructures, and my work focuses particularly on fuzzing methodologies. My technical background is grounded in C and C++ systems programming, including memory management, debugging, binary analysis, and network protocol implementation. I transfer this industry experience to students who wish to build a career in cybersecurity or advance their existing competencies to production and interview levels. As an educator, my primary objective is not to deliver theoretical information alone, but to impart practical engineering skills that remain valid under industry standards. The C and C++ training covers pointers, memory architecture, GDB, Valgrind, sanitizers, POSIX API, sockets, pthreads, mutexes, CMake, and algorithm and data structure design. Participants work with real code and debuggers rather than memorise syntax. Whether the goal is university coursework, software interviews, or real project development, the instruction is structured to move participants from fundamentals to advanced engineering competency.

Learning C and C++ is not just about memorising the syntax of a new language. It is also about understanding how the computer works under the hood, including the hardware and the operating system. These languages do not come with the modern safety features that protect you from your own mistakes, so they can be unforgiving. A small oversight or a mismanaged pointer can cause a crash or a memory leak that is hard to find. But that difficulty is also what makes them valuable. Once you understand the logic, the hardware interaction, and memory management, learning other high-level languages becomes much easier.

In my lessons, I do not use boring slides or abstract theory read straight from a textbook. We open the code editor and the debugger and work in a practical way, using the same techniques that are used in the software industry. Instead of being afraid of errors, we face them and ask why something broke. That is how you build a real engineering mindset.

We start by going through pointer logic and memory architecture in detail. You will learn how to detect memory leaks and how to debug professionally with tools like GDB and Valgrind. Once the basics are solid, we move into operating system internals. In a Linux environment, we look at file operations, the POSIX API, and glibc usage. In network programming, we use sockets and see through code how the internet communicates at a lower level. Then we practically cover multi-threading, concurrency, pthreads, and mutexes, which are essential for modern software development. You will learn to use multi-core hardware efficiently and to manage larger projects with CMake.

By the end of this process, you will not be someone who just reads code on a screen or survives by copying and pasting. You will be able to build your own in-memory database or key-value store, your own thread pool that optimises tasks, and your own working HTTP web server. Whether your goal is to pass difficult university C and C++ courses with good grades or to prepare for software interviews that set you apart, I will guide you step by step from the basics to a more advanced level.

Details

Here is a more natural, practical, and humble version of the fee and logistics section. It keeps all the necessary information but sounds like a real teacher explaining things to a student.

---

The hourly fee covers only the lesson, one-to-one technical training, and applied mentoring. Payment for a lesson or a scheduled session must be made in full before the session begins. You can pay daily or weekly, depending on what works for you. However, I do not start processing any session that has not been paid for. If you need help with homework, a project, a thesis, research, or an exam, that falls outside this fee structure. Those requests are priced separately and may vary.

All the tools we use in training are free and open source. You do not need to buy any commercial software licence or platform membership. The only requirement is a computer that can run a Linux environment smoothly. I provide the lesson notes, source codes, and all related materials, so you do not need to worry about that.

Lessons take place in a standard Linux environment. We will use Ubuntu or Arch Linux as the operating system. Meetings are held over Google Meet. To follow the lessons and take part in the practical work, you need a camera, a microphone, and a stable internet connection. The main tools we use throughout the training, as required for a professional C/C++ development environment, are: GCC and Clang compilers, GDB debugger, Valgrind, AddressSanitizer (ASan), UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer (UBSan), ThreadSanitizer (TSan), Make and CMake build systems, Git version control, terminal, VS Code, Vim, Neovim, CLion editors and IDEs, and VMware, VirtualBox, WSL2 virtualisation environments. If you want to record the screen during lessons or for your own revision, you can use OBS Studio.

Learning C and C++ is not a passive listening process. Taking notes during the lesson, recording the screen for your own revision, and practising the topics by writing code after the lesson are your responsibilities. Your progress depends directly on the independent practice you do outside the lesson and the number of lines you write. Some lab work may require virtualisation, so a computer that can run Linux smoothly is mandatory.

For face-to-face training, if the distance is between 5 and 10 kilometres, a transport fee of TRY 600 is added to the session fee. If the distance is more than 10 kilometres, the fee increases based on time and road cost.

Following professional standards, any cancellation or postponement must be made at least 12 hours before the session time. If you cancel in less than 12 hours or do not show up without a valid excuse, no refund is given because the schedule is disrupted. The lesson is considered delivered, and no make-up session is arranged. All training planning and package purchases are only done with participants who accept this professional discipline in advance.
