Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I find myself proficient in different topics like programming in c++/c/python/java/Matlab, algorithms and data structures, machine learning and data analysis, other fundamental topics in computer science like databases, operating systems, computer networks, algebra/linear algebra, etc. Machine learning and data analysis and programming are my strengths. I have been very interested in my degree in the above subjects. I have always enjoyed teaching others concepts, which also motivates me to learn more and more. Then I decided to pursue my master's program from AI and for that, I prepared for the GATE exam (National Master's Examination for Engineers). While preparing for the GATE exam, I developed more interest in the subjects and also became proficient in these subjects. I graduated with a master's degree from IIITD at CSE, an institute that is a pioneer in educational research, especially in the areas of machine learning, AI, augmented reality/virtual reality, and similar technologies. I've had various high-level projects on machine learning etc which piqued my interest in ML and its related areas.

What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
The motivation is to share my knowledge with others which I gained during my post-graduation and GATE exam preparation.

How does your work help society?
I discovered that some students are late due to inadequate teaching quality/content or they get lost somewhere causing them to lose interest in the subject or not study the subject at all.

If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
I always follow up closely with my teachers, with whom I have studied and gained knowledge. I think for a student, a good teacher is what students need. There is also a famous saying: "Good teachers make good students". So I keep a close eye on my teachers and I stay connected with them.

Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I am a person who loves extracurricular activities. I have been very active in all stages of my life in various clubs and have also founded a few clubs and represented a small number of students. Outside of school, I love public speaking and I have a hobby of discovering new places or new things. I also enjoy watching web series in my spare time.

Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
There are many stories with me about learning, teaching, etc. But I will share one story. I used to teach at one of the largest online teaching platforms in India before and found out that a lot of students are choosing to learn online, and also many students are still struggling to find the right teacher for them. Including a student with a disability but with the highest academic aspirations, I had the opportunity to teach this student and I realized the importance of education and I also got what a student wants, etc.
