About Aissa
My name is Majid, and I am a dedicated and friendly math teacher with over 13 years of experience in education. I hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have spent most of my career teaching middle school students (Grades 6–9), helping them overcome challenges and build confidence in math. I recently moved to Canada and I’m excited to bring my experience and passion for teaching to new students. I believe in creating a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment where every student can succeed at their own pace. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, technology, and exploring new ways to make learning more interactive and enjoyable. I am fluent in Arabic and speak English well, so I can support students who are new to English or come from diverse backgrounds. As a passionate and experienced math teacher, I offer personalized lessons designed specifically for students in Grades 6 to 9 (middle school level). My goal is to make math easier, less stressful, and even enjoyable!
I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs, explaining concepts in simple, clear steps. Whether your child struggles with basic operations, fractions, equations, or geometry, I provide step-by-step support with plenty of practice.
I have over 8 years of teaching experience and a background in Electrical Engineering, which helps me connect theory with real-world logic. I also speak Arabic, which can help students from Arabic-speaking families feel more comfortable and supported.
Lessons are available online or in-person in Ottawa, and I’m always happy to answer questions between sessions.
