About Shafia

My name is Shafia and I’m a student attending West Carleton S.S, currently entering Grade 11. My favourite subject for the longest time has been Math as I seem to have the knowledge and grasp for the concepts! I would love to have the opportunity of tutoring any student in grade 7 or below in math for the summer️

• Worked with students in a school environment
• Experienced tutoring from home

“Shafia is a very sweet, positive, patient and a creative student herself. She is super friendly with young kids and my son really enjoyed her first session with her. Highly recommended her.”
~ Review from a previous parent that I worked with

About the class

Given the current circumstances I would work with students through an online teaching platform such as Zoom.
I would begin with questioning what the student already knows. Then move on to discuss what the steps are for developing their skills on criteria that they struggle with.
