About Brian
Hi, I'm Brian, and I'm completing my Master of Music (Performance) degree at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, studying with Professor Konstantin Shamray. I began piano lessons at the age of six, studying with Prof. David Lockett AM on a single-study scholarship from age eight at the University of Adelaide. In 2015, I was offered a full scholarship place at the renowned Purcell School in London, where I studied with Patsy Toh and later received a British Government scholarship to support my music studies. I’m looking to take on 6-7 students in my private studio. Send me a text message if you’re interested! I have spent many years studying under some of the finest teachers: Emiratis Professor David Lockett at the University of Adelaide, Patsy Toh from the Royal Academy of Music in London, and Glenn Riddle at the University of Melbourne. Recently, I began lessons with Konstantin Shamray, further enriching my experience. Learning from these foremost teachers has equipped me with a strong foundation in both skill and teaching methods. I’ve started working with beginners and am pleased to see my students grasp key concepts quickly.
