About Paul
I lived 2 years in Japan and majored in japanese language and civilisation and that's why I am fluent in Japanese. I also traveled a lot - in a dozen foreign countries - and speak English. I taught as a tutor for 2 years now with excellent results.

I propose to give private lessons to learn Japanese from beginner to intermediate level and help them progress in this beautiful language that is Japanese.
I am fluent in Japanese (JLPT level 2) and I was a student at the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3. I have a degree in Language, Culture and Japanese Civilization. I also lived in Japan a year and go back when I get the chance. During this year, I have experience in teaching as I taught Japanese to French people over 3 years. Sometimes I also happened to translate Japanese martial artists during aikido training with Japanese masters.
In terms of method, I think studying grammar is important but not only. To provide context helps grap the sense of rules in Japanese. The more we understand the culture, the more we can appreciate the language. Finally, practice is the goal I set. Language is meant to be spoken, to communicate as I will always put the focus on it. Learning should be as interesting and fun as possible, I think, the best way to learn and that's the way I intended to teach you.
