About Kelsie

Hey! I’m a friendly, easy-going actor who’s always loved performing and helping other people find their confidence.

My journey hasn’t just been about acting. I’ve also dealt with social anxiety and confidence issues myself, which has taught me a lot about how difficult it can be to put yourself out there. That’s a big part of why I enjoy helping other people with acting, interviews and public speaking.

I’m not someone who believes there’s one perfect way to perform. I like figuring out what works for you, keeping things relaxed and having a bit of fun along the way!

About the class

Hi! I’m a Theatre and Performance graduate from the University of Salford and will soon be starting my Master’s in Screen Acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

I offer support with script read-ins, monologue preparation and breakdowns, acting coaching and feedback, as well as public speaking and interview preparation - especially for students who feel anxious or lack confidence.

I have experience taking part in acting workshops/classes, touring shows, casting projects and appearing in short films myself. I’ve also run drama and confidence-building workshops, helping young people prepare for interviews through role-play, Q&As and practical exercises.

Having overcome social anxiety myself, I understand how intimidating performing, speaking in public or attending an interview can feel. I adapt my approach to each student’s personality, confidence and individual needs, creating a supportive and relaxed environment.

I got into drama school on my first attempt by understanding my acting style, choosing the right material and learning how to break down and prepare my performances effectively. I’d love to share what I’ve learnt and help you build confidence and perform at your best!

Bonus: for additional £10 (one off fee not per hour) I am happy to find a good space and help you record your tape in person! Backdrop and light provided. I understand the stress of not having the right set up or any space to really perform! Let me know what you need, and I can see what I can do.

NOTE: my sessions are not just for actors, they are for everyone!

I had the pleasure of working with Kelsie when I was preparing for an important audition. She came highly recommended to me by the director of Snakes and Ladders, and I can completely understand why.

Kelsie was an excellent reader and scene partner. We worked together on the scene that I ultimately went on to perform on stage at Shakespeare North Playhouse, and her support made a real difference to my preparation. Not only was she a wonderful co-reader, but she was also incredibly supportive and generous with her feedback, helping me explore the nuances of my performance and identify areas I could work on.

I truly believe that Kelsie’s encouragement, insight and support played an important part in helping me feel confident and prepared—and I was delighted to be selected for the role. I would highly recommend Kelsie as a teacher, reader, scene partner and fellow actor. She is talented, supportive and an absolute pleasure to work with.
