Dana is an absolutely wonderful Social Studies teacher. Her students adore her and find her lessons exciting and interesting. She uses real world examples from present day news to help her students make relevant connections to the past and present. Her way of teaching history and government makes her students want to learn more about the many diverse topics she teaches. She is a very encouraging teacher and helps her students build their confidence as they learn the content. Students often request to have her as their teacher again and talk about what a great experience it was to be in her classroom.

I’ve worked with Dana and she is an absolute rockstar of a teacher. She creates a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students. She knows her subject content and is effective with her teaching strategies.

Dana is an amazing teacher who truly cares for her students. Teaching is her calling and she takes great pride in that. Dana invests in the students that she teaches and ensures that each student has the tools they need to succeed in her classes.
