About Krisha
I am a year 12 student who has just completed my GCSEs, and therefore someone who understands that certain subjects such as English or maths can feel intimidating. I want to teach so that students can feel confident going into exams, and maybe learn to love subjects that once overwhelmed them. I think tutoring someone who is a similar age to myself will allow the tutee to comfortably ask questions, and I still have access to all my revision resources to provide an extra piece of assistance.

As I am currently in year 12, I have an excellent understanding of exam and revision techniques, in addition to up-to-date knowledge of predicted grade boundaries and topics/questions. I have experience tutoring my younger sister, and I have started an additional maths support club at school to help year 11 students struggling with maths concepts. Please view my subject by subject breakdown:
English literature - my lessons will focus on helping students to create grade 9 essay plans, including access to my own grade 9 essay plans and essays
Maths - I will focus on specific topics that the students may struggle with and share some tips and tricks to achieving 232/240 raw mark.
Humanities - Having done both geography and history at GCSE (achieving grade 9s in all my option subjects), I have a good understanding of the content and demanding essay structure that humanities require, making me an excellent tutor to help students recap content and learn key terms in addition to perfecting their question structure.
Spanish - Having achieved a grade 9 in Spanish, I can help students with their conversational skills and test them on their aural exam answers.
Biology/Chemistry - Having achieved grade 9s in both, I am able to help students tailor their answers towards the mark scheme, especially since I still study Chemistry at A-level.
