About Belén

Hola a todos! I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a passionate Spanish native speaker, eager to share my language and culture with all you amazing learners out there. My name is Belén, and teaching Spanish is my true calling. I hold a degree in English and Spanish Studies, which has allowed me to delve deep into the intricacies of both languages. Additionally, I have honed my teaching skills through a Master's in Teacher Training, ensuring I provide an engaging and effective learning experience for my students. My journey as an educator has taken me to various levels of English teaching, and I've had the incredible opportunity to teach Spanish at a High School in London. This experience has not only broadened my horizons but also fine-tuned my ability to adapt my teaching style to learners of all ages, from lively kids to seasoned adults. I have successfully helped teenagers to complete their GCSE and A levels. Energised, fun, and enthusiastic – these are just a few words that describe my approach to teaching. I believe that creating a friendly and positive environment is the key to unlocking my students' potential. Whether we're diving into grammar intricacies or exploring cultural nuances, I strive to make each lesson productive and enjoyable. So, if you're ready to embark on an exciting journey of learning Spanish, let's connect! I can't wait to be a part of your language learning adventure. ¡Nos vemos pronto!

About the class

Welcome to my exciting Spanish lesson! I create a fun and relaxed atmosphere, based on a communicative approach with a focus on speaking and grammar. I always welcome my students' recommendations, queries, and preferences, ensuring an engaging and personalised learning experience. Let's embark on this language journey together!

Fantastic tutor! The fact she’s a Spanish speaking native and English teacher means lesson plans and explanation are perfect! I used Belen to help me at the beginning of the year with limited Spanish knowledge. Now I can speak Spanish fairly well and even hold a lengthy conversation in Spanish which I did whilst on holiday. In just 6 months I learned so much and I continue to study Spanish with Belen in the hopes of being fluent by next year!
