Super Tutor

One of our best tutors. They have a quality profile, experience in their field, verified qualifications and a great response time. Syamanthaka will be happy to arrange your first Spanish classes.

About Syamanthaka

My passion for Spanish language is expressed best when I impart knowledge to students who are equally passionate about the language. Apart from teaching, I also write for various blogs in Spanish. Regular interactions with native speakers from Latin America and Spain have helped me gain the subtle nuances of the language and a lot about the culture and traditions of Hispanic Lands. Sharing this with my students gives me immense joy.

About the class

I believe in holistic approach to learning a language and include all aspects like reading, writing, listening and speaking in my classes. Grammar is an integral part, but is taught in a fun way, making classes super interesting irrespective of the student's age. I also include a variety of activities to make the learning a joyful experience. Come join the fun and learn a language today! Keep your brain active and open a universe of possibilities. You are never too old to learn a new language.

I have completed A1 and A2 levels with Sam and now started B1. Our association goes back to almost early 2024 when I decided to learn Spanish. She is an amazing tutor and our classes are always enjoyable. I have progressed quite well and now getting coached to speak better as well. Even for the DELE exams she helped massively in the prep and helped me do well. My classes are 1 on 1, online. I can definitely say that it is effective. I will definitely recommend Sam for anyone who is looking to learn Spanish (basic to advanced).

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I impart knowledge on speaking, writing, and understanding of the Spanish Language. Being a polyglot myself, as I expanded my skills to foreign languages, I found Spanish to be a language that is spoken by a really wide population in the world. Being able to know more about the culture and tradition of another continent made me more interested in learning this beautiful language.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
The Spanish language is a true beauty. It also opens a plethora of opportunities to study, work or travel to several parts of the world. Some of the best universities are present in Spain and Latin America. I wanted to empower more people to tap into this world of opportunity by learning the Spanish language. This motivated me to explore my passion for teaching and impart all the knowledge that I have acquired to my students and see them soaring to great heights.
How does your work help society?
More students desirous of learning the language can do so now, at affordable rates and in a fun-filled manner.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My Biology teacher in the school has been a role model for me in how an ideal teacher should be. She not just imparted knowledge to us, but molded us into good human beings, with morals and values. Each and every of her student still talks to her and visits her even though they have grown up and settled down with fancy jobs in different parts of the world.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I write a lot, both in English and Spanish. I periodically publish articles on famous blogs and write content for organizations. Apart from this, I am also an author and write books on various themes.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I started out with zero knowledge of Spanish. But I put my heart and soul into learning, practicing in every free moment I would get outside of my working hours and daily routine. In less than 3 years, I have achieved one of the highest certifications and managed to publish a book in Spanish, currently selling on Amazon.
