About Claudia

I am a 32 year old native Spanish speaker from Cusco, Peru in South America and I grew up in the Peruvian rainforest. I have an ELE (Español Como Lengua Extranjera) certificate for teaching Spanish as a foreign language and am currently completing a second specialization course to teach children aged 5 and over. I live in Italy with my Scottish husband, so I understand and speak both Italian and English.

I am a passionate landscape photographer with a keen interest in preserving and helping the environment. I also enjoy learning about new cultures and sharing my cultural knowledge with my students. I am a traveler, a human person and I thrive on helping others.

About the class

I like to start my lessons with light conversations, how to ask about your day and what's going on in the world. I can offer conversation lessons on spontaneous or planned topics or focus on grammar and pronunciation with some conversation. I always ask my students if there is anything in particular they want to focus on, so I can tailor our lessons to suit your needs. I can also set weekly homework for you if you wish and I often include games, worksheets, videos, music and articles in my lessons. My main areas of interest are helping to improve your Spanish fluency, conversation skills and expand your Hispanic cultural knowledge. I am available on weekdays for lessons.
