About Lio
With 16 years of experience in singing and teaching, I am passionate about helping students from school to college unlock the full potential of their voice. Teaching allows me to combine my love for music with guiding learners to build technical skills, confidence, and expressive performance.
Over the years, I have trained students to strengthen their voice, improve tone clarity, and gain control over pitch, breathing, and rhythm. Many of my students have performed successfully in competitions, school events, and cultural programmes, marking proud milestones in their journey.
My lessons are structured, interactive, and personalised, including vocal exercises, rhythm training, breathing techniques, and expressive performance guidance. I focus on consistent practice, constructive feedback, and encouragement to help students achieve steady growth while developing a lifelong passion for singing.

My teaching methodology for Singing focuses on building a strong technical base while nurturing artistic individuality. I understand that every voice has its own character, so flexibility allows me to design lessons that suit each student’s vocal range, musical interests, and confidence level.
I begin with structured breathing exercises and gradual warm-ups to ensure healthy vocal development and prevent strain. Empathy helps me recognise the emotional sensitivity involved in singing, especially when students feel nervous about performing. Compassion ensures that my feedback is always constructive and encouraging.
Through clear communication, I explain vocal techniques such as diaphragmatic breathing, pitch control, resonance placement, diction clarity, and dynamic variation in simple, practical steps. Collaboration is essential, as students participate in setting goals, choosing songs, and evaluating their progress. In addition to Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Health awareness, and Stage Performance techniques.
