About Olivia

I am majoring in Environmental Law and minoring in Political Science as a senior at the University of San Diego. I am extremely dedicated to my studies, and care deeply about education. Fun Fact: I had perfect attendance from Kindergarten to 12th grade (I never missed a single day of school in elementary, middle, or high school!) I was put into a drawing for a car as a senior.

About the class

I aim to best help my students by first identifying their specific goals and hopes for the tutor session. Together, we will explore ideas, refine the structure of their essay/writing piece, and make effective revisions. My patience and dedication to correcting essays as if they are my own sets me apart from other tutors. I specialize in middle and high school students writing lessons.

Olivia's response
Daston is an extremely bright student! He had great ideas during our creative writing session and was very good at writing in a chronological order (using transition words). He needs to work on repetition throughout his paragraphs (changing up the words). But overall it was a great session and I look forward to working with him again!
