About Grant
Because of my 30 years of experience as an English teacher, I clearly understand how the Assessment Objectives (AOs) of the different UK and international Examining/Awarding Bodies are applied when English examiners mark students’ scripts.
In the initial assessments of my new students, I quickly identify areas of strength and confidence and, on the other hand, those areas requiring precise and specific intervention. This information from their assessment then determines my planning for what type of lesson combination/package my new student requires for them to achieve their best English grades.
To see my students growing in confidence and starting to believe in themselves is very, very rewarding. It’s impossible to put a value on how I feel when receiving heartfelt words and expressions of appreciation and gratitude from my students when they discover the excellent English grades they have achieved in their final examinations.
