About Alysha
Hi, I'm Alysha! I’m a passionate science tutor and science teacher in Portsmouth with a degree in Biomedical Science from Southampton University. I specialise in tutoring GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as A-Level Biology. My goal is to make science engaging, accessible, and tailored to each student’s needs. I provide structured lessons, exam strategies, and personalised support to help students gain confidence and achieve top grades. Whether you’re aiming to master tricky topics, boost exam performance, or simply deepen your understanding of science, I’m here to help! Alysha has supported my son through his GCSEs and is an absolute joy to work with. She is always on time and is fantastic at breaking down the difficult topics he struggles with. His confidence has shot up since working with her and he has really started to enjoy science. Could not recommend more.
Alysha tutored my daughter A-Level biology and was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, encouraging and really helped build her build her confidence. Thanks to her support and exam strategies, my daughter managed to go from a C to an A and attend her first choice university. Highly recommend!
