About Mariano

My name is Mariano and I am an Oceanography student at USP and I work with classification of deep sea animals from the Brazilian coast at the Oceanographic Institute (where I study). For those of you who don't know, oceanography is a course that covers all natural sciences (chemistry, physics, biology, geology and mathematics), which makes me more than qualified to assist students with difficulties in these subjects in elementary and high school and also help those who are preparing for the entrance exam. I have diverse experiences with teaching, being a monitor at the USP Geosciences Museum and also a Physics professor at the Cursinho Popular (Today with the name of Collective) May 68. I wait for you in my class;)

About the class

I have a flexible teaching method that will vary from student to student. Because I have a comprehensive experience, I developed the ability to teach elementary, middle and high school students without any problem. Regardless, the classes have a continuous character, being developed from the didactic material used by the student in the school in the case of reinforcement and from polyhedron or objective handouts (at the student's discretion) in the case of preparations for the entrance exam. In addition, I propose practical activities, complementary texts, videos on youtube and podcasts that can help the student in understanding the topic addressed. My goals are based on: -Developing the scientific sense -Developing the appropriate logical capacity for algebraic operations that surround these subjects -Connecting the student to the content so that he learns it and does not memorize it -Create interest due to the subject studied through demonstrative experiences and complementary materials -Enable the student to solve exercises and develop their skills for approval (school or vestibular)
