About Benjamin
I have always found teaching to be personally inspiring and I want to pass on a love for learning to the student that I connect with.
I have taught all ages from 5 to 18 but have recently decided to tutor students in my preferred age range of 11-16, particularly GCSE science and maths.
I have held many posts in schools and was Deputy Head of a primary school before moving to teach in Secondary schools.
I believe that all can achieve their potential given the enthusiasm and inspiration on the part of the teacher.

I teach lessons that are always varied and interesting. I have a very patient methodology and believe that all students can achieve their potential given interesting lessons that are creative and tailored to the student's needs.
I typically teach for 1-hour sessions on a weekly basis but this can vary from student to student depending on their individual needs.
I have a B.Ed., and MA and I am currently studying for my Ph.D. in Education and science. I have been a personal tutor for many students over the last 25 years.
My lessons cover all ability ranges and ages 11-16.
