About Julia
I come from Siberia, Russia (you know, those uncharted territories covered in snow) where I graduated as translator for the English language. During my studies in Russia as well as later in Germany I used to give tutoring lessons for English and German.
In Germany I attended general and exam preparation language courses, which provided me an insight into the teaching structure and some methods. I speak Russian, German, English and a little French, so if necessary, rules, some tricky features of the language, etc. can also be explained and discussed in another language.

Hello everyone!
Whether you're simply curious about the Russian culture and people, plan a journey to Russia or are preparing for an exam - I'll be glad to help you!
The lessons are planned and structured individually, it depends on the goals and wishes as well as the learning rhythm of each student, which we discuss in the first lesson. However, during the lessons I use examples and rules that can be used in real life situations and conversations.
In my opinion, conversation is of crucial importance when learning a language. That's why a part of the lesson is devoted to discussions, for example, of current newspaper articles or relevant texts.
Grammatical exercises are of course also part of it; I adapt them individually to the topic and your needs.
Since I am constantly learning languages myself, we also discuss my personal learning methods, for example when it comes to understanding and memorizing grammatical rules.
