About Jennifer
I am a Research Assistant in Neonatal Neuroscience. I love music and am a health/nutrition nut. I have completed 2 undergraduate degrees, first in sociology and second in psychology and a minor in music. I have also completed a Master of Science in Neuroimaging for Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience at The University of Manchester. I am passionate about encouraging others to do their best in their education. I teach in public areas like classrooms, study rooms, the library or even in the park when it’s sunny. I have 12 years of teaching experience and understand that every student requires different methodologies for learning curriculum. One model that many students I tutor identify with is the VARK model, combining visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic approaches to learning. If the student does not identify with this model, I use a combination of other pedagogical approaches. Incorporating additional resources to supplement the material given to them in their classes.
