About Imad
I am an experienced STEM tutor with a strong academic and research background in biochemistry, molecular biology, mathematics, and data science. I currently work as a laboratory technician at the NIH and have previous research experience at Johns Hopkins University.
With a 3.97 GPA and a minor in mathematics, I understand the challenges students face when learning difficult subjects. I also have hands-on tutoring and teaching experience in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, SAT preparation, and AP courses.
My goal is to create a supportive, professional, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills, and achieving their academic goals.

I make difficult STEM subjects simple, clear, and engaging. My teaching approach is personalized: I identify each student’s challenges, explain concepts step-by-step, and use examples, practice problems, and active questioning to build understanding and confidence.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review, followed by a focused explanation of the topic and guided practice. We finish by reviewing key concepts and identifying areas for additional practice.
What sets me apart is my combination of real-world scientific research and teaching experience. With a background in biochemistry, mathematics, data science, and molecular biology research, including experience at NIH, I can connect classroom concepts to practical scientific applications.
I tutor middle school, high school, and college students in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, as well as students preparing for AP courses and standardized tests.
