Require help with A-level Chemistry or Biology? As a gap-year student, I have achieved an A* in Biology and an A in Chemistry, and you can too!

I have had the pleasure of working with Haoyu many times at college, and I strongly recommend him as a Chemistry or Biology Tutor. He has an excellent understanding of both subjects and has sat with me many a time and explained abstract and difficult concepts clearly and patiently. Haoyu is professional, reliable, an excellent communicator and genuinely committed to helping students build their knowledge and confidence. He would make an outstanding Superprof tutor, and I would highly recommend him to any student looking for effective and engaging Chemistry or Biology lessons.

I can highly recommend Haoyu as a tutor for chemistry. Haoyu and I studied together throughout both GCSEs and A-Levels and he always proved to be a reliable person to turn to if you needed any support with your studies. Haoyu has a strong academic profile and achieved high grades in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at A-level. Haoyu has very strong communication skills and is able to carefully articulate difficult concepts in a way tailored to the person he is supporting. He is also able to speak Mandarin, which he occasionally used when supporting friends with their studies. Haoyu has had an interest in education as well as science, which he has proven by undertaking work experience in a school, helping build his skills at explaining difficult concepts to younger students. Haoyu has the desirable qualities that you will be looking for when seeking a tutor. He is patient, kind, understanding, and very approachable. He will be able to guide and support you throughout your studies and help you to achieve the grades you desire!

I was Haoyu’s classmate in Chemistry at college, and although I didn’t speak to him much during our first year, he managed to make a more than meaningful difference to my college time in our second year. At the end of my first year, I was very behind and regularly scoring Ds in December. After hanging out with Haoyu more and having him pretty much tutor me on the whole course, I flew up the grades, scoring an A in the mock papers we sat in the spring. He showed me how to work well inside of class and how to effectively approach homework and revision. Whenever I got stuck or confused by a topic or part of the course, I would immediately message Haoyu, asking him to help me understand, and he was always more than happy to help. He was able to explain concepts and topics in a way I could understand. Also, if I didn’t understand immediately, he was always very kind and patient and was happy to go back over topics with me. I think Haoyu made a dramatic impact on my final grade in the exam season. During exams, I would spend as much time as I could with him so I could ask him every question I had and make sure I understood the whole syllabus, and he always knew how to help with every question. Even on exam mornings, on the bus to college, I’d message him about every topic I had small doubts about, and he answered all my questions, and I felt far more confident going into exams thanks to him. Honestly, I believe thanks to Haoyu, I did far better on my A-levels than I would have without him. All in all, Haoyu was a wonderful tutor (even if he probably grew sick of me always asking him questions), and I don’t think I could’ve done my A-levels without him, and I could not recommend him more.

We knew each other through college, had a great time, and tackled the exams together.
Through those 2 years, Haoyu helped me get through this with his excellent explanations and well-thought-out worked examples.
He's patient, which is why you can ask any questions on the topic until you understand it.
In my honest opinion, I would like future students to get the idea across that Haoyu is an amazing Super Tutor and does deserve to be on SuperProf!
