I have a passion for sharing knowledge, something that shows through in my teaching style and dedication. I have more than 10 years' experience working within the veterinary profession. I have spoken at conferences and universities, been an invigilator/examiner for final year practical exams (OSCE/TSPEs), and interviewed prospective veterinary nurses for university places. In order to excel in the field we are passionate about we must be able to understand and relate taught concepts. To help you get the most out of your tutoring, I teach at your pace in a casual and approachable manner. I welcome “stupid” questions, because there really are none! With a wealth of experience in the veterinary profession and an understanding of different learning styles/methods I can help you with anything from a pre-university interview, to your final exams. I have experience teaching students and colleagues in veterinary practice whilst on the job, lecturing at conferences and universities, and am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I hold two degrees in veterinary nursing and a master's degree in Endangered Species Recovery and Conservation. My lessons are 45min-1hr (subject dependent) and preferably held online (although face to face tutoring may be an option for those within a reasonable distance).
