About Abhavya
As a friendly, calm and approachable person I am really eager to start tutoring. I love to play netball, listen to music, watch tv and socialise with friends. I am good at seeing more than one perspective to things, and offering support- whether that is through listening or giving advice. I would like to tutor as I have recently done A level exams and am up to date on content, but understanding the mental difficulties of dealing with sixth form means I have a greater appreciation for different ways of learning and different goals. I believe I can use my experience to help others achieve the grades they want, whilst motivating and helping people become more confident in their abilities.

As a recent A level student, I completely understand the difficulties of balancing GCSEs/ A levels with life, whilst dealing with self doubt and lack of confidence. However, through my experience I believe I can help students in a motivating, approachable and calming way. By finding out more about personal interests, I would use them to simplify difficult concepts and by listening to what students are struggling with, I would work with students to plan weekly lessons based on their needs (using a flexible approach). Typical lesson length would be 1 hour, using google meet.
