About Jasmine
I'm a recent Chemistry BSc graduate with a genuine interest in science and problem-solving. Throughout my degree, I've developed a broad understanding of chemistry and particularly enjoyed organic and biological chemistry.
I enjoy helping people understand difficult concepts and finding simple ways to explain things that can initially seem complicated. Although I'm new to tutoring itself, I have helped children in the past with their reading and comprehension skills.
Outside of chemistry, I enjoy reading, playing video games, and baking. I'm a friendly and patient person, and I aim to make my lessons relaxed and comfortable while still keeping them focused on helping students make real progress.

Chemistry can be a difficult subject because it's not always obvious how different topics fit together. My approach is to break complicated concepts down into simple steps, identify exactly where you're struggling, and then work through exam-style questions so you can apply what you've learnt.
As a recent university graduate, I still remember what it was like to prepare for GCSE and A-Level exams, and I know that sometimes you just need someone to explain a concept differently.
Lessons can be tailored around whatever you need most—whether that's understanding a difficult topic, working through homework, preparing for an upcoming exam, or improving your exam technique.
I'm friendly, patient, and happy to go at your pace. My aim isn't just to help you get through one particular topic, but to help you become more confident tackling chemistry independently.
