About Shahir

I’m Shahir, a BA (Hons) Photojournalism and Documentary photography graduate with a passion for using images to explore culture, identity, and society. During my studies, I developed a strong foundation in both the technical skills of photography and the theory behind visual storytelling. I have also been a teaching assistant for UAL short courses for children on the fine art and photography courses during the summer.

About the class

I offer lessons designed to share the knowledge and skills I developed while studying Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at university. These sessions are for anyone who wants to learn how to tell powerful stories through images, whether you’re just starting out with a camera or looking to deepen your understanding of documentary practice.
