About Sana
I am a recent GCSE student and high achiever currently studying A-Level Biology. Having recently completed my GCSEs, I have a strong understanding of the GCSE Biology and Science content, as well as the exam techniques needed to succeed.
Studying A-Level Biology is also strengthening and developing my understanding of the fundamental biological concepts I learnt at GCSE, allowing me to build on my existing knowledge and explain topics with greater confidence.
I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy Biology and want to help other students become more confident in the subject. As someone who has recently experienced GCSEs myself, I understand the areas students can find difficult and can share effective revision and exam techniques that helped me achieve high grades.
I aim to create a friendly, supportive and engaging learning environment where students can ask questions freely, develop their understanding and feel more confident going into their exams.

I provide support across GCSE Biology and GCSE Combined and Triple Science, focusing on the relevant GCSE specification and exam-style questions. I can help students understand difficult topics, revise key content and build confidence with exam technique.
My teaching approach is friendly, patient and personalised. I adapt lessons to each student’s needs and use clear explanations, diagrams, active recall, quizzes and exam questions to make sure students understand the content rather than simply memorising it. I also focus on exam technique and common mistakes so students know how to apply their knowledge in exams.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s age, needs and preferences.
I am a recent GCSE student who achieved high/top grades, giving me recent experience of the GCSE syllabus, examinations and revision techniques. I understand what GCSE students are currently expected to know and can share revision strategies that helped me succeed.
Lessons are suitable for GCSE students aged approximately 14–16, studying Biology, Combined Science or Triple Science, whether they need help understanding specific topics, preparing for exams or improving their confidence.
