About Evangeline
Hi! I’m Eva, a recent graduate with a background in Data Science and Statistics. I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers, solving puzzles, and figuring out problems step by step, and I’d love to bring that same curiosity into my Maths classes.
Outside of academics, I enjoy crocheting, solving puzzles, and exploring new things. I’m a patient and easy-going person, and I understand that every student learns differently. Whether you’re someone who already enjoys Maths or someone who finds it a little difficult, I’m happy to work with you at your own pace and help you feel more comfortable and confident with the subject.
I look forward to getting to know my students, understanding how they learn best, and making Maths a little less intimidating and a lot more approachable!

My approach to teaching is patient, friendly, and focused on making students feel comfortable asking questions. I understand that Maths can sometimes feel difficult or overwhelming, especially when a student has missed a few basic concepts or feels nervous about getting answers wrong. I’m happy to take things step by step, explain concepts in simple ways, and spend extra time on topics that a student finds challenging.
I usually begin by understanding what the student already knows and identifying the areas where they need more support. From there, I adapt the pace of each class to their individual needs, working through concepts with clear explanations, examples, and practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions freely and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed, as I believe confidence is an important part of learning Maths.
My classes are intended for primary and secondary school students who may need help strengthening their Maths fundamentals, catching up on difficult topics, preparing for schoolwork, or simply becoming more confident in the subject. My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students can learn at their own pace and gradually feel more comfortable with Maths.
