About
I have a degree in French and a PGCE teaching qualification, with lots of experience of designing and delivering business training courses and academic teaching. I lived and studied in France (Rennes), and as well as choosing to spend most of my holidays in France, I have also lived in French-speaking Switzerland too, meaning I have first-hand experience of the language and rich culture. Now back in the UK, I have been teaching French to adults and children for about ten years, and I love it! I have numerous loyal students whom I have helped to develop their confidence and skills in speaking and writing in French.

I currently run two lessons a week suitable for adults, intermediate to advanced level students (so B1, B2, to C1). Skircoat Green, Halifax Tuesday early afternoons, and Thursday lunchtimes in Hebden Bridge. We cover a wide range of practical French through thematic structured lessons including vocabulary, grammar, cultural learning and lots of conversation & opportunities for discussion. Handouts are provided where appropriate and there is usually optional homework to allow students to embed their new skills. Group sizes are small to allow everyone a chance to speak, and to listen. Rebecca conducts a french course for intermediate to advanced adult students ,the focus is on spoken french ,As a group everyone gets to speak,express their views on adult themes ,french cinema , literature,culture etc learning french in a fun friendly atmosphere definitely recommend if you have at least some french to start off . Details
My adult classes are for an hour and a half, in small groups of up to about five students. These are £20 per student. This includes my lesson planning and any handouts. Or you can buy a block of lessons in advance and they work out at £15 each.
