About Lydia
I am a London-based, aspiring Yogi, with a desire to teach others how to breathe, to relax their nervous systems. While studying my 200hr YTTC in India, I learnt how to move safely, and how to unite the body and mind. While I am always learning in life, I want to share the knowledge I have already gained, to continue the legacy of the great teachings and to serve others. I want to help you deal with your stress, anxiety, depression, and the general struggles that come up in life so that you can see beauty in the little things. If you don't experience stress and you simply want to improve your flexibility, strength and balance, I can also guide you while adding in the important elements of Yoga Philosophy, to increase your understanding of why we do the poses.

My approach to teaching provides my students with an encouraging push, not a forceful one. For a lot of people, Yoga can be daunting because of the countless poses that seem to require a lot of flexibility, but I've had the privilege of learning from the best teachers that this is not the aim. Strength is required yes, but with my methodology it can be built. With me, the gradual development will be fun and above all, it will help you to release tension and relax. I will incorporate the elements of Yoga Philosophy, the introduction of which are important for understanding why we do the Asana. I will also add Pranayama breathing techniques with time, where appropriate. Ideal ages would be between 21-45 years. I am working towards learning how to teach children and mature students safely, and in the coming months this service will be available. I invite all levels!
