About Chloe
I have been giving tutoring lessons from 2014 to students that were aged 9 to 15 years old. These lessons were based on the French curriculum, in Beijing.
I have an undergraduate degree in Media and International Development from the University of East Anglia. During my three years, I was part of a sustainable society giving one-off lessons to local schools about the link between climate change and health. I was part of the design of lessons to the delivery of them. We went into primary and secondary schools.
In June 2020, I was certified as a qualified teacher in Modern Foreign Languages (French and Mandarin) by the University of Oxford.
I was trained at DGS (Didcot Girls' School), in Oxfordshire. I was teaching around 9 to 10 hours per week to students in KS3, 4 and 5.
I have prepared students in Y10 (French) and Y11 (Mandarin) for their GCSE oral exams/mocks.

I was born and raised in China with a French and English educational background. All three languages were used at home, therefore, I value the importance of languages and its historical, cultural and social context.
Depending on what the student needs and whether they have a preferred way of learning, then I will design and create my lesson plans accordingly.
When creating my lessons, I will be basing it off the expectations of the national curriculum, as well as using past GCSE and A-Level papers.
I want to make learning a language fun, relevant and useful for students that are looking to broaden their opportunities and awareness of our world.
