My teaching style is casual and getting the students to explore the boundaries of their creative ability and think out of the box. Focusing on and strengthening students weaknesses in learning and knowledge. Customised lessons relevant to the students subject would start with a brief overview of the information that we would be going through that day and then go into detailed explanation of the topic of choice involving samples for discussion. Summary and review at the end of the session. Expected ongoing research from students also required in future sessions to monitor progress.
I am an interior designer who has a degree bachelor of built environment interior design QUT. I’ve been teaching and designing for over 20 years. Specialising in idea generation, light and colour, spatial design, graphic drawing, product knowledge, design/art history and visual merchandising. Creatively confident, I have a love of language and a flair for conveying complex things in a simple way - be that a drawing, a metaphorical concept or a story.
