About Ella

I come from a long line of musicians and music teachers and love helping people reach their full potential! I have just finished my undergraduate degree in Music from the University of York where I conducted choirs and taught solo vocal lessons. In my own time, I love walking in the moors and spending time with friends, family and dogs!

About the class

I have over three years of experience as a singing teacher at a local school in York as well teaching privately for over 4 years. I have just completed my Masters in Music Performance where I specialised in choral singing and musical direction. I have worked in Music Theatre and popular music singing as well as operatic and choral singing. All ages and abilities welcome!

Can’t recommend Ella enough - an inspiring and supportive teacher who combines technical guidance with a keen understanding of the psychological challenges of singing and performance. An excellent listener, tailoring lessons around my specific experience and aims and giving clear and practical advice, Ella is an absolute joy to work with.
