About Joseph
Upon my years of education in Australia, I've learnt a few things:
* It is imperative to be proficient in both Korean and English. It doesn't look very professional if there is a discrepancy between the level of proficiency of either languages. Hence, I pushed myself to achieve level 6 in TOPIK II (Test of Proficiency in Korean) as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Melbourne with Honours.
* Working at the Korean Trade Commission (KOTRA) has proved my bi-lingual proficiency theory to be accurate! Being able to speak/write/read Korean at a casual everyday level is NOT the same as the level of proficiency needed for work.
* The situational vocabulary can be vastly different according to area of business/everyday life. My diversified work experience in numerous settings has allowed me to cover an immense range of vocabulary used at all levels.
I highly recommend learning from someone who has had an extensive work experience within the Korean society, as well as in Australia to make the most of your learning, because they're going to be the ones who will be able to relate most to your needs as a student!
