Perfect! Mazin is an expert in both music theory and practice, he is soft spoken, polite, gentle, kind, very attentive and makes you at ease from the very beginning when you first meet him. Mazin offers a very informative 1st free lesson perfectly that he maintains the same high standard for the subsequent paid lessons. Mazin is very patient when teaching and uses interactive visual teaching skills and open ended questions which encourages you to be actively involved throughout the lesson and encourages you to ask questions along the way. Just one lesson with Mazin and any doubts are wiped out as you get to believe that you can achieve anything you put yourself to do in music! What is so amazing is that he does this so humbly and makes the lesson so interesting that by the time the 1 hour lesson is over you want more, you are already looking forward to the next lesson. Mazin gives you 110% undivided attention during the lesson as if you are the only person that matters at that moment in his world. Mazin is excellent with children my girls want to do lessons each day! Mazin will try everything to fit each student to the time they are available to the point that he gets out of his way to accommodate all students. At first I was afraid to ask him to teach me piano for the sake of my girls to be able to help them with music homework; but to my delight and relief as soon as I made the request, he was very pleased and encouraged me and fitted me in to my convenience. Mazin tries to be flexible with times if you want to change lesson times, he never says 'no' instead he asks for some time and he surely gets back to you with positive feedback. There is not enough words to describe a music teacher who can play and has mastered 40 different music instruments! Mazin is among the greatest music teachers if not the greatest. Perfect! I take Oud lessons with Mazin (a Middle Eastern string instrument for which very few teachers are available). I've been having lessons since February and I am amazed with how much I've progressed. I really enjoy the mix of theory and practice, focus on technique while being grounded by theoretical principles which Mazin ensure that I understand and master. I am also very comfortable with Mazin's approach and teaching style. I'm a busy mother of two with a demanding full-time job. Even when I do not get the chance to practice enough during a week, I come out of the lesson feeling confident and very happy with my progress. Overall, an amazing teacher, a talented musician and a great person to know.

Lessons are engaging and have a great mixture of theory/practical teaching’s on top of the tasks set between each lesson.

Also worth noting our lessons take place on zoom due to my location which I was apprehensive of trying originally however it has worked out brilliantly. I have no doubt lessons in person are also great.
