About Luann (Zhan Yu)
I was born and educated in China and have lived in Australia for more than 25 years. I have 20 years of experience teaching Chinese, both Mandarin and Cantonese, to students of all ages. My lessons are practical and enjoyable, often including Chinese culture, history, geography, and even modern slang or popular expressions. I love helping students feel confident using the language in real life, whether for school, work, or personal interest. Many of my students have improved quickly and continue learning with me for years.
