About Juan
Professional Jazz and Classical Pianist holding a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance at FIU. Juan has performed around the world with different artists and is currently a professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University where he specializes in the areas of Jazz/Pop Piano, Sound Engineering and arranging. Keyboard programming and sound design are among his duties as a keyboard player for different acts such as UNITY. Juan has toured and recorded with artists such as: Danny Ocean, Tito Nieves, Sheila E, Mark Lettieri, Guillermo Vadala, Ed Calle and many more. As one of his last performances in 2023 Juan was a featured artist at Carnegie Hall performing with renowned Violinist Benadett Nyari.

Perfect! My first lesson with Juan was using a virtual platform. He showed patience whenever I had sound or internet issues. He is descriptive with his teachings, and will explain the purpose of every key. I am completely new to the world of music and piano, but Juan does a great job teaching g the terminology involved with this art.
