I am Neelam, a Fashion Designer and Art Educator with over seven years of teaching experience and nine years in the fashion industry. As a Professional Fashion Designer and Art Teacher, my approach to tutoring is hands-on, creative, and age-appropriate, designed to inspire students while building strong technical skills. Teaching Methodology: Lessons are practical and interactive, blending theory with real-world applications. Each session incorporates sustainable design practices, teaching students to consider eco-friendly materials, resource optimization, and ethical production. I foster a supportive and encouraging environment, ensuring students feel confident to experiment and express their creativity. Projects and exercises are age-appropriate, tailored to students’ levels, interests, and prior experience. Lesson Structure: Typical lessons last 60–90 minutes, with a balance of demonstration, guided practice, and personalized feedback. Students receive creative exercises, design assignments, and mini-projects to consolidate learning. Collaborative activities and workshops are incorporated for older students to enhance teamwork and problem-solving. Qualifications & Experience: Master’s in Fashion Design with 7+ years teaching Art & Design to senior secondary students. 9+ years experience in fashion and accessory exports as a designer and merchandiser. Extensive experience conducting exhibitions, workshops, and school projects, with media recognition in India. Certified Microsoft & Adobe Educator, and 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certification.
