About Alexandra
I am a bilingual actress and Drama teacher, my mother is Italian and my father is Irish. I have graduated from my Two-year MFA Acting course in 2019 at Guildford School of Acting (GSA) at the University of Surrey. During the last 10 years I have been performing and studying Acting in Venice, Florence, Rome, Genova, Perugia, London and Guildford. At the moment I am performing my One-Woman Show "Di Umanità e D'arte" (About Humanity and Art) and acting in different short-films and films. I have recently won a prize as Best Actress at the Sweden Films Awards with my lead-role in the short film "Attrazione" ("Attraction") by the independent film director Alessandro Romano. During our acting classes you will be able to explore your skills and your strengths in a safe environment. My aim is for you to feel free to let yourself go and develop your creativity, understanding how to live the present moment on stage or in front of a camera, in order to be a truthful actor or actress, and to positively make use of these skills in your daily life too. Your own uniqueness will be the starting point of our lessons. By applying exercises, sensory experiences and games to the study of monologues, poems or songs, you will learn more about acting techniques, character work, improvisation, text analysis, breath, voice, movement, emotions, instinct and empathy. You will learn how to act or further develop your skills, through constant feedback, advice and professional tips. Whether you are into acting just for curiosity or fun, or you are interested in a professional career and preparing for exams or auditions, I look forward to meeting you and to help you succeed your goals in the best relaxed, professional and friendly way.

Alexandra is a lovely person, really helpful and encouraging with our Italian lessons. We are having weekly Zoom lessons at the moment for conversation and grammar revision.
Alexandra is a born teacher and I really enjoy our lessons. She actively suggests great lesson plans to base our work on, and allows enough flexibilty for me to expore areas of interest, and cover topics I find more challenging. Overall a great tutor.

Alexandra Is a very unique person, extremely reliable and sincere! As an actress, she has performed with great italian actors as Dario Fo but has never stopped studying to improve her great skills. Furthermore, I can say that her knowledge, sensitivity and predisposition for human contacts , make her the best teachers I have ever had. I strongly recommend her if you wish to learn Italian from an excellent native speaker teacher or drama from a talented and knowledgeable actress.
