To keep learning fun and effective, I use a mix of visuals, games, flashcards, practice papers, and cultural content like Chinese festivals, idioms, and social customs. As a passionate linguist and student myself, I understand what it’s like to learn a new language. I teach with patience, humour, and a fresh perspective that makes Mandarin accessible and less intimidating. I aim to help learners not only pass exams, but genuinely enjoy the language and culture along the way. I also offer tailored support for different learning goals. Whether a student prefers casual conversational Mandarin, wants help with school homework, or is aiming for top GCSE grades, I adapt my materials and pace accordingly. Progress is regularly reviewed, and I provide useful tips for memorising characters, improving pronunciation, and tackling tricky grammar points. I’m always open to questions and encourage a relaxed, respectful learning environment where mistakes are part of the journey.
