About Trudy
Inspired to share her love of yoga Trudy has been teaching since 2010. She is a 500-hour senior teacher, with over 15 years of teaching having taught Contemporary Dance at Deakin University. She has an Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching (350h) from the Australian Yoga Academy, a Diploma of Vinyasa Teaching and is a member of Yoga Australia. Most recently in 2019 Trudy completed further training with Mark Whitwell from ‘Heart of Yoga’. During the last two years Trudy undertook further online training with the renowned Janet Stone. Each class is customized to suit each participant's specific needs and abilities. Enhance and deepen your practice, or simply a great way to begin your yoga journey. These 60-minute sessions are created for you, either on your own, with a friend or in a small group. I'm passionate about movement having had a career in dance with a Master's in Choreography. My yoga training has been comprehensive and varied studying many styles with many wonderful teachers. Influenced by my early practice of Iyengar yoga (more static and therapeutic) and my love of dance, I offer an inclusive, friendly and fun class. Finding ease in your effort, linking breath with movement - each practice is an opportunity to mobilize, stabilize and energize. Find strength, feel the joy of moving (your body) and leave the mat inspired.

Trudy is an amazing yoga teacher. She has been practicing for Over 30 years and teaching for over 20. She teaches Vinyasa Flow and is the best teacher I have ever practised under. She has been my teacher for over five years and I thought I understood yoga until I practised under Trudy. She corrected a number of poses I thought I was doing correctly and now my practice has gone to the next level. She takes the time to do this with all her students, and makes everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, with her friendly and calm nature. She has a deep understanding of yoga, and combined with her many years of experience as a dancer, she has a deep knowledge of the body and movement. I would recommend Trudy to anyone wanting to further enhance their yoga practice. 5 stars!
I have been practicing yoga with Trudy for over 6 years, in both group vinyasa and private classes. I can highly recommend her as a teacher who inspires and cares about her students and the art of movement.
