About Carly
I completed a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and have spent the last 5 years helping students build meaningful relationships with music. My passion for piano developed through years of study, performance opportunities, and collaborative music-making. Teaching became a natural path because I enjoy helping others discover the rewards of musical growth. Supporting learners as they gain confidence remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.
My teaching style balances structure with creativity. I believe students benefit most when technical development and musical expression grow together. Lessons are adapted to each learner’s needs while maintaining clear goals and expectations. Students receive guidance that helps them understand concepts deeply and practice effectively. This approach encourages lasting confidence and independence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy accompanying singers, exploring new repertoire, and studying piano education techniques. These interests help me bring fresh ideas into lessons and continue growing as an educator. Watching students achieve goals they once thought difficult is deeply rewarding.
