About Selene
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Studies and have 8 years of teaching experience working with students from beginner to advanced levels. My journey with piano began with a deep interest in music, which gradually developed into a passion for teaching.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and step-by-step learning. I break down complex pieces into smaller sections so students can understand and practice them effectively. I use demonstrations, exercises, and personalized feedback to help students improve steadily. I also adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and learning preferences.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy practicing piano and exploring different musical styles to continue improving my skills. Teaching piano is very rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and ability over time. Helping them achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and enthusiasm.

Each session is supportive and flexible, allowing students to learn comfortably at their own pace.
I structure lessons based on each student’s level and learning goals to ensure steady progress and balanced improvement. Beginners focus on basic hand positioning, simple melodies, and note reading. Intermediate learners work on scales, coordination, and more detailed compositions. Advanced students focus on expressive playing, advanced techniques, and performance preparation. Practice routines, structured exercises, and regular feedback are included to support continuous development.
Piano lessons also help students develop discipline, focus, and creativity. As they improve, they gain confidence in their ability to perform and express themselves through music. Many learners find piano both relaxing and rewarding. My goal is to make piano learning structured, engaging, and confidence-building.
